About Programs
Choosing the right program for your child starts with understanding where they are right now. At Ariko, we have four preschool age groups and a full-day daycare program, each one built around the specific developmental needs, capabilities, and natural curiosities of children at that stage.
Nothing at Ariko is borrowed from a standard template. Every program has been shaped by our philosophy, our educators’ experience, and a genuine understanding of what children of each age are ready for.
PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS
Playgroup
Age: 1 year 8 months to 2 years 6 months
The gentlest beginning. Where the world outside home starts to feel safe.
- Structured sensory play designed for cognitive and motor development
- Introduction to social interaction with other children in a safe, supervised setting
- Language stimulation through songs, stories, rhymes, and guided conversation
- Establishing comfort and routine so children feel secure and ready to explore
- Daily communication with parents about their child’s activities and mood
Low child-to-teacher ratio ensuring every child receives individual attention
Nursery
Age: 2 years 6 months to 3 years 6 months
Curiosity is at its peak. We give it the right environment to flourish.
- Expanding language skills through storytelling, vocabulary building, and group discussion
- Introduction to numbers, colours, shapes, and early pre-writing activities
- Structured free play, art, and creative activities that build fine and gross motor skills
- Building independence in daily tasks such as packing bags, following instructions, and self-care routines
- Social-emotional learning: understanding feelings, taking turns, and building early friendships
Regular parent sharing to keep families connected to their child’s growth
Junior Kindergarten
Age: 3 years 6 months to 4 years 6 months
The year a child begins to understand that learning is something they are capable of.
- Introduction to phonics, pre-reading, and early literacy concepts
- Number recognition, counting, and early mathematical thinking
- Creative arts, music, movement, and expressive activities
- Developing concentration, listening skills, and the ability to follow structured tasks
- Building confidence through presentation, sharing, and group activities
Introduction to environmental awareness and basic science concepts through play
Senior Kindergarten
Age: 4 years 6 months to 6 years
Ready for school. More than ready for life.
- Consolidated reading readiness, phonics, and early writing
- Mathematical foundations: addition, subtraction readiness, patterns, and measurement
- Critical thinking, problem-solving activities, and project-based learning
- Developing the social and emotional maturity for a smooth transition to primary school
- Building a strong sense of identity, confidence, and self-expression

Daycare PROGRAMS
Daycare at Ariko
Ariko’s daycare was designed with working parents in mind, and with children’s wellbeing at its centre. It is not a waiting room. Every one of our Core Pillars applies here just as much as it does in the classroom. Children feel secure in a monitored, consistent environment. They grow at their own pace through continued guided activity. And they are seen as individuals throughout the afternoon, not as a group to be managed.

- Post-school activities and continued guided play in a calm, supervised environment
- Fresh meals and nutritious snacks cooked daily in Ariko’s own kitchen, prepared under full hygiene standards
- Supervised rest and nap time in a comfortable, dedicated rest area
- Outdoor and indoor play that balances energy release with structured activity
- Full CCTV monitoring of all daycare areas throughout the day
- Daily end-of-day update shared with parents about their child’s afternoon
